New Girl star Lamorne Morris has been named the Sweetest Man Alive by fresh fruit and sweets brand Edible, which recently launched its Be Sweet Today platform, 'encouraging people.

The actor and comedian commented 'I believe the best way to brighten someone's day is to be kind and do something out of the ordinary... I'm grateful to my grandmother and my mother who taught me to be sweet, to be available for my friends and to tell them I love them'.
